The Viola Marble Vessel

Raw stone. Refined purpose.

The Viola Bowl brings the grounding weight of the earth directly into your daily routine. Carved from a single, solid block of Calacatta Viola marble, it is designed to be an uncompromising anchor in your home—a piece that serves your dog while respecting your space.

Characterized by natural, heavy burgundy veining against a raw white base, no two bowls are identical. This is not a manufactured pet accessory; it is a functional piece of nature, cut from the mountains and honed for simplicity.

Why it matters:

• Grounded Stability: The dense, inherent weight of solid marble prevents shifting, tipping, and spills, anchoring the bowl firmly to your floor.
• Naturally Cool: The stone retains a naturally low temperature, keeping water colder and fresher for longer without artificial intervention.
• Unapologetic Simplicity: Free from plastics, synthetic dyes, and fleeting trends. This is a return to foundational materials.

The Details

• Material: Calacatta Viola
• Weight: Approx 1.5 kg - 1.8 kg
• Size: 16cm (Base of bowl) x 14cm (top of bowl) x 6.8cm (height)
• Finish: Smooth, honed interior with a natural cooling surface to keep water fresh and temperature regulated.
• Uniqueness: As this is a purely natural extraction, no two vessels will ever be identical. Your piece will feature its own distinct veining, translucence and topographical banding.
• The Patina: This is a living material. Natural stone will gracefully record its history in your home. Over time, interaction with water and organic elements will gently soften the polished surface, developing a subtle, matte patina that is the hallmark of true, unsealed earth.

Care Ritual

Marble is a porous, living stone that breathes and ages with your home. To clean, simply wash with warm water and a mild, natural soap. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners, or the dishwasher, as these will strip the stone's natural integrity.
